The proposed recorder is a proven solution. This system is structured around eleven synchronous CPU units each equipped with an optical fiber input/output and solid states disk of 2Tbytes. The total capacity of storage is about 22 Tbytes

The Ground sub system is a recorder of standard 6U 19 Dimensions: 6U19" Width x 10.5" Height x 19.5" Depth. The weight of the recorder is about 25 kg. "Solid-states disk" are removable and they take two slots, each.

Serial Front Panel Data Port (Serial FPDP) is a high speed low latency data streaming serial communication protocol. It currently supports three distinct speeds, 1.0625 Gbit/s, 2.125 Gbit/s, 2.5 Gbit/s. Serial FPDP can operate over long distances, up to 10 kilometres (6.2 mi), using optical fiber cables.

The sFPDP protocol is used for Signal intelligence, RADAR, SONAR or image processing applications. Our system is proposed for embedded systems designers who search for the best solution. This system is the best way to require a powerfull quick and cost effective way to permanently store and play captured data

The electronic modules have a dimension of 100 mm x 134 mm. The supply of the device (100 to 240 volts 50 to 60 Hz) is placed on the power board receiving removal electronic boards. The electronic boards proposed to answer of every need are the following ones:

  • Card central unity with Irig B for time stamping, and phone channels.
  • sFPDP inputs 1 channel (4 Gbits/second max).
The time stamping of each channel is 10 s, for the precision of synchronous playback. The solid state discs are SATA interface, hot swappable when they are not in recording.
