D.T.MUX NanoS2

An ultra-compact flight-test system that combines a data-acquisition concentrator and a solid-state recorder in a single stackable device.

D.T.MUX NanoS2
Telemetry & Data Acquisition

One of the most efficient flight-test acquisition and recording systems in an ultra-compact design, with easy-to-swap stackable modules. It works as an integrated acquisition concentrator and recorder — no separate units needed — and adapts to varied requirements through its modular architecture.

The NanoS2 unifies acquisition and recording in one enclosure: a CPU module with recording capacity, an optional CPU-controller module without storage, and a power-supply module, extended by stackable acquisition modules. This all-in-one architecture removes the need for separate acquisition and recording units and keeps the installation footprint minimal on space-constrained test platforms.

Its modular, stackable design lets integrators scale up to twelve acquisition modules per NanoS2 unit and tailor the channel mix to each campaign, while recording data directly in IRIG 106 Chapter 10 format for straightforward post-flight analysis.

IRIG 106 Chapter 10 recording on solid-state storage

The NanoS2 records acquired data directly in the standardized IRIG 106 Chapter 10 format onto solid-state disk, streamlining post-test processing across analysis tools. An internal IRIG-B time code source time-stamps the data stream, and can optionally be coupled with a GPS time code source for absolute time reference. A sustained 500 Mbps flow rate per unit supports mixed analog, digital-bus and Full HD video acquisition recorded simultaneously.
