Ultra HD Video IP Camera / Microphone

A fully integrated 4K airborne IP camera with area microphone, GPS data overlay and onboard SD recording, purpose-built to feed a D.T.MUX install over a single PoE cable.

Ultra HD Video IP Camera / Microphone
Rugged Hardware / Accessories

A fully integrated airborne Ultra HD (4K) video camera with area microphone, GPS input with data overlay and a removable SD-card for native video/audio recording, with integrated PoE. Built on a Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor with image stabilization for vibration-heavy rotary-wing and propeller aircraft.

The Ultra HD Video IP Camera / Microphone is the airborne front-end of a D.T.MUX video chain: a single Ethernet run carries both power (PoE) and the compressed H.264/H.265 stream, while a removable SD-card holds a native copy of the video and audio at the sensor. Built around a Sony Exmor R CMOS with optical image stabilization, it is intended for the vibration-heavy environment of rotary-wing and propeller aircraft.

Beyond raw imaging, it embeds an area microphone and burns a GPS data overlay directly into the picture, so recorded footage carries synchronized position and audio context. Automatic day/night switching via an IR-cut filter and up to 24 privacy-masking zones make it suitable for surveillance and search-and-rescue tasking, feeding D.T.MUX recorders such as the Sentinel and DVR.

Qualified DO-160 for cockpit conditions

The camera is qualified to RTCA DO-160 cockpit environmental conditions and contributes to ED-112B / ED-155A AIRS Class A, B and C image-recording chains when paired with D.T.MUX crash-protected recorders. Its image stabilization targets the high-vibration environment of helicopters and propeller-driven fixed-wing aircraft. Powered from 28 Vdc (16-36 V) at about 6 W with a 6-second ultra-capacitor ride-through, the all-in-one head weighs ≈750 g (UHD version: 62 × 79 × 130 mm) on MIL-DTL-38999 connectors, mounted via a universal 1/4-20 UNC thread.
