D.T.MUX Sentinel ED-155
The lightweight ED-155 variant of the Sentinel — the same crash-protected recorder and DAU at ≈3.30 kg, qualified to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810G.
The lightweight ED-155 variant of the Sentinel crash-protected recorder (FDR / CVR / AIR) — the same fully integrated recorder and data-acquisition unit (DAU), qualified to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810G, at just ≈3.30 kg. For general aviation, UAVs and platforms where the full ED-112A requirement does not apply.
The Sentinel ED-155 delivers the same fully integrated architecture as the ED-112 variant — FDR, CVR and AIR recording in one crash-protected box that also acts as its own data-acquisition unit (DAU) — engineered to the EUROCAE ED-155 lightweight-recorder requirement. It is the cost-, weight- and size-optimised choice for general aviation, UAVs, trainers and flight-test platforms where the full ED-112A transport-category requirement does not apply.
The recorder captures serial-bus, analog or internal-sensor data (3-axis gyro, G-force, pressure) alongside four audio channels and Full HD 1080p or Ultra HD 4K video at 1-30 fps, each function operating independently or in combination, recorded in IRIG 106 Chapter 10 or D.T.MUX format. Time synchronisation is available via GPS, IRIG-B or PTP v2, and the optional iRIPS internal battery sustains recording for about 10 minutes after aircraft power is lost.

ED-155 crash-survivable recording
The Sentinel ED-155 is engineered to the EUROCAE ED-155 standard for lightweight flight recorders, protecting recorded data, audio and image through impact, fire and immersion. Sharing its platform with the ED-112A variant, it offers the same recording functions and interfaces in the same enclosure while saving weight where the transport-category crash-survival level is not required. The optional iRIPS internal battery keeps the unit recording for about 10 minutes (±1 min) after aircraft power is lost, and an optional underwater locator beacon (ULB) aids post-incident recovery.
Qualified to DO-160G & MIL-STD-810G
Tested to RTCA DO-160 Rev G (including EMI) and MIL-STD-810G, with MIL-STD-704F / DO-160 power quality: the unit operates from -40 °C to +71 °C (storage -55 °C to +90 °C), up to 60,000 ft with 420 kPa/min decompression, and withstands 5 Hz-2 kHz vibration at 6.29 g RMS, 20 g / 11 ms shock and 20 g linear acceleration. Powered from 28 Vdc (16-36 Vdc) at 12-40 W with 200-800 ms interruption immunity, it carries a computed MTBF above 90,000 hours and uses MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors on ARINC 404 mounting (189.5 × 126.2 × 101 mm, ≈3.30 kg).
